Double Drakes

I know Mallards are not rare, but with the number of whistling, squabbling, chittering, fussing Whistling Ducks around here, I get excited when I hear a duck QUACK! :)

I Think This is Bubba!

Do you remember Bubba from last year? Quite an impressive beast of a squirrel, he was...
Bubba Squirrel
Another Dose of Bubba Squirrel
One Last Dose of Bubba Squirrel

I'm not sure if this is the same squirrel - the notch in the ear is just noticeable - but his shape is certainly familiar!

Nice to see he's doing, um, 'well!' :)
Just to show you not all of Run*A*Round's squirrels are obese, we do have a few more normal-sized ones...

Whistlers on Wednesday 107 & Good Fences #40

First, no ducks wearing Santa caps, holly or bells. Just plain ol' Whistlers. But you've got to admit, the Rockettes ain't got nothin' on these line-ups! :)
Next, a holiday gate for seasonal greetings and to wish you a Merry Christmas.

Here's the Good Fences link-up!

1. Link in a post featuring a photo or photos of fences or gates.
2. Link back to Run*A*Round Ranch Report in your post or use the badge code to display the Good Fences button in your post that automatically links back here.
3. If time allows, please visit some of the other participants and comment on their shared posts.
Thank you!

Mr. and Mrs. Claws

Well, they have claws (and use them effectively to climb and cling.) They wear red caps and have red bellies, too. No Santas, just two Red-Bellied Woodpeckers at the feeders. First, the mister...

Tipping that dashing red cap.

And the missus.

She has more gray hair - undoubtedly from dealing with that hot-headed husband of hers... ;)

Found Hearts

Nothing astounding, just some hearts found around Run*A*Round. :)
A pink colored rock in the dirt.

A water puddle left after a rain - and perhaps a few more hearts in the stones themselves.

A heart in the hay bale wrapping?

Or perhaps a signal for Batman!
A water drop creates a heart on a paper towel

A scratch or scar on Gem's inner leg (one of the horses)

Gem, did you sneak off and get a tattoo?

And this one I've shared once before, but it's worth a repeat. :)
